Since our fraternity odds blog post, we've received more questions that we felt would be useful for all Greeksters. We've got 25 weeks to go so this is meant only for those who actually plan in advance...

1. Cheapest flights from New Orleans, Raleigh or (enter city name) to Las Vegas?
Although not a show sponsor, we recommend kayak.com.

2. What about the sorority odds?
We apologize for not giving you the sororities with the fraternity odds, but each set is very unique. Where LSU does not usually leave food on the table for other frats, the sororities are much harder to predict. We expect to have the sorority odds posted by Tuesday, January 15th. We do realize that for some of the greats though "you don't need the 'odds of winning' email to know who the competition REALLY is...'

3. No really, what else will the weekend consist of?
While Team Greekster is still mapping out the weekend, you can expect a Greek poker tourney to identify the best Greek poker player in the nation, several parties (pool, pre and after), a great stroll show and of course church, because even the atheists will need to confess their sins that Sunday.

4. If I have a gambling problem, should I go to Silk?
No. You should dial 1-800-GAM-BLER. Seriously.

5. Is The Miz going to be there?
No.

6. Is Eve Torres, from the WWE, really a SILK champion?
Yes, in 2006, Eve flew in along with SILK legends  Patricia Chacon aka Patty from Cali, Audrey Pumariega, and Amna Mazin to merge with OPB's Dream Team and win the title.

Coincidentally, her L.A. squad was the closest thing to the Queenz that we've seen and they took 2 SILK Los Angeles shows in a row.

Coincidentally, 2006 was also the last sighting of LTO's glorious group of extraordinary strollers. They were severely awesome and their only flaw was running into teams who were always just a tad bit better.

Coincidentally, we still watch old SILK videos where LTO performed to make ourselves happy during rainy days. Those girls had some kind of choreography, creativity, outfits and rhythm.

Coincidentally, we secretly hope that Renata, Jessica, Adhari, Alejandra, Priscilla, Miluz, and Oshaira's little sisters, nieces, and future daughters pledge some day and return LTO to their stroll greatness. 

Coincidentally, #betONRenata, when we first met her waiting on a line outside of our 2nd step show, she warned us that her sisters were going to make an impact. She is right to this day.

7. What happened to the petition?
It was a joke on our part. We deeply respect each of the two organizations and meant to start a conversation. For those of you who took to twitter to antagonize Greekster for not respecting tradition, here's a good book for you to read. 

8. How many votes is Theor-E away from  performing in Vegas?
Who?

9. Why is there no banner for Silk 2003?
That's a story only shared with a select few. Maybe some day you'll understand the truth.
